It has been a couple of years since we had Burundi on our menu and to say we are excited for the return would be an understatement.
Ninga was processed at the Ninga washing station and consists of cherries grown on Ninga Hill at 1800-2000 MASL. In Burundi, hills are the smallest geopolitical unit, so hill separations are the most traceable lots coming out of Burundi. Ninga is showing beautifully. With a slightly different profile from our other lots form Burundi. This one is more floral with notes of bergamot along with the more traditional flavors of black tea, citrus and baking spices.
